Risk disclosure

Every screen in ChartPeak that shows a read carries one line: it reads charts, not your account, and it is not financial advice. This is that line in full.

ChartPeak is education, not advice

ChartPeak describes what is visible in a picture of a price chart, in the language of technical analysis: trend, bias, support and resistance, patterns, indicators, and what a setup would look like if one were taken. That description is educational. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything, and it is not an offer or solicitation of any kind.

ChartPeak is not a broker-dealer, an investment adviser, a commodity trading adviser or a financial institution, and is not registered as any of these. Using ChartPeak does not make you a client of any of them.

It does not know you

A read is produced from the image alone. ChartPeak does not know your account balance, your open positions, your leverage, your risk tolerance, your time horizon, your tax position or your goals, and it does not ask. Nothing it returns is tailored to your circumstances, and nothing it returns should be treated as if it were.

The model can be wrong

Reads are generated by a large language model interpreting an image. Such models can and do make mistakes: misreading a crowded chart, missing or inventing a level, naming a pattern that is not there, or describing a timeframe the chart does not show. A confident tone is not evidence of a correct read. ChartPeak includes a no-trade verdict precisely because a chart can look like a setup and not be one, but the no-trade call can be wrong too.

Treat every read as one opinion to check against your own analysis, never as the deciding vote. Verify anything you intend to act on.

Trading is risky

Trading stocks, options, futures, forex, cryptocurrencies and other instruments carries a substantial risk of loss, and is not suitable for everyone. Leveraged products can lose more than the amount deposited. Prices can move quickly and markets can become illiquid. Past performance, whether of a market, a strategy or your own journal, does not indicate future results. Only trade with money you can afford to lose, and consider seeking advice from a licensed professional who knows your situation.

The journal and the Trader Score

The journal, its equity curve and the Trader Score are calculated from figures you enter yourself. They are only as accurate as what you type, they do not reconcile against any broker or exchange, and they are not a statement of account. A high score describes a pattern in your past closed trades. It does not predict the next one.

Screenshots and examples

Screens shown on this website and in the App Store listing use example data, including example journals and example profit figures, to show what the app looks like when in use. They are not the results of any real account and are not a promise of results.
