The axis is total value, not the price of one token
What it is
Most decentralized exchange screens plot market capitalization, which is token price multiplied by supply, rather than the price of a single token. A chart reading 180K to 310K is describing the whole token, not what one costs.
What it may suggest
It makes tokens with wildly different supplies comparable, which is why the venues default to it. A move from 200K to 400K is a doubling whichever axis is drawn.
Where it fails
Market cap and price only move together while supply is fixed. If tokens are minted or burned, the two charts diverge, and the axis alone does not tell you which you are looking at. Check the label before reading a level off it.
